Hello and welcome to my site!
I am a historian of Early America, the Atlantic World, the American Revolution, but more specifically of American religious and intellectual history. I approach my research on religious rhetoric and thought, and the influence it has on political power and identity, through various analytical approaches provided by the history of emotions and digital humanities.
If interested in my courses, check out my course syllabi and course design content. For more information on my work as a historian, check out my recent research, book project, public history publications, and commentary on scholarship in my overlapping fields of work and interest.
Cheers,
J.T.
